Sun Valley Physiotherapy

FAQ

What to expect?

  • Each patient will be individually assessed & each treatment session will be approximately 45 minutes long depending on the condition being treated. Each treatment is individually tailored to meet the patients needs, the treatment is based on diagnosing and treating the problem and not the symptoms thereof.

Do I need Dr referral to be seen?

  • Physiotherapists are first hand practitioners, thus no doctor referrals are necessary to see a physiotherapist for a specific condition. We do welcome referrals from doctors but it’s not a prerequisite.

How long will the treatment session take?

  • Each treatment session is between 30-40 minutes long depending on your physical condition.

How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

What are your fees?

  • Our fees are R600 per session. We use the SASP fee structure & accept both cash and medical aids.

Do you accept medical aid?

  • We accept most medical aids, please check with us to see if your medical aid is accepted.

What to expect from a home visit?

  • As the assessment / treatment will take place in your home, please make sure that you are not interrupted during our treatment sessions. At your first session you will be assessed and receive a prescribed home exercise programme.
